About Us

SAVE, Inc. was started in 1983 by a group of Charleston SC professionals from several disciplines, including social services, vocational / rehabilitation and psychological therapy. They saw the relatively new EAP field as way to address behavioral healthcare and workplace issues in the community.

In 1993, Sarah Gainey became a principal in the company. Her understanding of the needs of business, industry and education and how it relates to personal and workforce issues has made SAVE, Inc. the leading EAP provider in the Lowcountry.
